  • Ignore Level: based on combat level around 152.5, please check.
  • Other items Ogres may drop: MM Cape, BP Cape, Book of Elf Fighting.

I can confirm an ignore level at around 150 combat level. I also got several MM and BP capes when training on them. I'm going to add them to the drop list. - Gampa

At combat level 152 they still attack, at 153,5 they ignore - Zarkuu

Since the combat level formula we're using is made up by players and not the 'real' combat level formula the server uses, it's always a bit inaccurate to say at what value a creature ignores you. An offset of up to 10 combat levels is possible with differerent character builds (e.g. normal p/c build compared to will/vit build). - Gampa

I got book of moon med, stars med and damage ring building from them. but I can't remember the date. - LightLan

Anyone else gotten 31 gold, or did i misread something? - Ilobypie

I got 90 Gold at Once But thats the highest I ever got. Average was around 20 to 30 gold. Must have been a freak thing - Nerdz

Combat 153 they attacked me, got an attack level to combat 154 and they ignored. (gossip's combat level) - GoodDay2Die

Has anyone ever gotten a serp stone as a drop recently? If not, Does anyone mind if this drop is removed to avoid any confusion when fighting ogres? -- Nerdz 12:02, 9 January 2009 (CST)

Well, Zarkuu reported that drop in 2008-04, so that's kind of recently... it's an unconfirmed drop but so are many others (see Rare Drops of Male Ogres). A possible solution might be to somehow "flag" the unconfirmed drops on the main creature page.--Ermabwed 17:23, 9 January 2009 (CST)

I remember that drop because it was unexpected, I only got it one time, so I believe its even more rare that the cloaks. Another suggestion is to use a © (Confirmed) to mark the confirmed drops. --Zarkuu 18:08, 9 January 2009 (CST)

I also got a serp stone once from ogre, been a while but more recent than that date (had to be around October/November 2008). --GoodDay2Die 11:25, 10 January 2009 (CET)

I got a serp stone last time around December 2008. I'm pretty sure it's still there, since I've gotten quite a few from them --Zilvador 11:25, 23 January 2009 (CET)

I have Killed 1600 of them so far and the only drops I have gotten are 6 Steel Long Swords, 5 Iron Battle Hammers, 8 Iron Broad Swords, 1 Book of Star Medallion Building, 2 Wooden Battle Hammers
KyleeJo May 31, 2009

May of 2009 Well if we're going to use number killed, I have over 8,800 ogres killed on my stats with only one serp stone drop, so the stone is quite rare. --GoodDay2Die May 31, 2009

I suggest that all monsters are given a new heading Extra rare drops - this is not the only monster who has drops that are much more seldom that other rare drops- and by putting all more rare drops under the same heading could confuse people to think that the monster drop a serpent stone as often as the other rare drops. -- Silvatica June 2 2009.

I agree with silvatica about the rare drop separation. But where will be put the line?

The bonus of the attrib potions is taken into consideration when calculating the ignore level.. my CL (gossip) is 161.25 and without potions they still attack me (low p + high inst/vit here), but with a coord pot they never attack -- Aredhel Oct. 4th 2009

Still attacking me with Combat = 156.5 (according to el-cel). I have way-out-of-wack stats: 20/39/8/10/12/12. -- HairMaster Jan. 20 2017
