Gwen is looking for an apprentice to help her create innovative weapons for Lord Luxin's army, but the apprentice needs security clearance from Antigone. Gwen has been working on coil technology for Gauss cannons similar to the ones that Irilians have developed, but Draia's magnetic field prevents the creation of symmetric magnetic fields. She is near the sewers because she is going to measure the intensity of underground magnetic fields.
She also mentions Neru, Noria, and Aluwen's temple in Forest of the Fall, White Stone.
