Higher than combat level 144.75 (Gossip) and lower than the Zarkuu level, so I say its probably 145 combat level as calculated by Gossip, so I change it to that in main page. - Silvatica 16:16, 14 February 2009 (CST)

I'm wondering if astro affects combat level, in particular a/d astro. I recall on ogres I reached the combat level stated and they immediately started ignoring me (all 3 in the Mel cave just walking around me). However I went back the next day and they attacked. I know my astro was really bad at that time as well. It makes sense, I just can't personally confirm it as fact. But if it is the case, perhaps that's what's causing the questions of the combat level here. - Burn 22:25, 20 September 2009 (CST)

Looking at combat levels with my guild yesterday and how it's calculated. Other things may be a factor, but Reaction, Toughness, Dexterity, Attack, Defense and Matter are parts of it. Changing to different armor/weapon configurations can change some of these stats. Has anyone ever checked Hobgoblin without any armor on to see if you are still ignored at the combat level that gossip gives you? - Jeff 19:00, 29 September 2010 (CST)
