About pinning

Since the pinning is considered a part of the game and not a bug there should be a title for it in this page. --Dipi 10:49, 20 December 2010 (CST)

Are you sure it shouldn't be in a guide instead? Does pinning affect every shot you take, or is it a strategy? --Vygder 13:02, 24 December 2010 (CST)
Well, there are extremely rare situations where you can get a pin with a non agressive monster/animal, but the normal is to use it with monsters that try to attack you (because they don't ignore you or because they are from invasion), for a faster kill or easier ranging training. --Dipi 16:15, 24 December 2010 (CST)
Since pinning is a combat strategy and not required for every shot, I think it should be discussed in a separate guide. At most, the Ranging page could briefly mention pinning or provide a link to the guide. Since there are no ranging guides yet, yours could be the first one. --Vygder 08:17, 25 December 2010 (CST)

AP potions

A reference and explanation of AP potions should be added in this page. I don't know under which format, feel free to add it. --Dipi 15:56, 12 July 2010 (CST)

I agree, probably best to add a section for that and I am not sure the centered tables are such a good idea either.--Ermabwed 21:26, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Accuracy

From what I can gather, It seems Shortbow Shoots the fastest but is the least accurate, and Crossbow shoots the slowest but with the greatest accuracy. Long bow Falls some where in between these two. I cant test Recurve and Elven because of lack of funds. - Nerdz

Using the #arm command:
Missile Accuracy: 2 --> Long Bow
Missile Accuracy: 6 --> Recurve Bow
Strange though, Short Bow Has More Missle Accuracy Than a long, So why the higher price tag for long? - Nerdz 03:28, 7 April 2008 (CST)
Elven bow does considerably more damage than the others; the statement that they're all the same is wrong. When i get a chance to test recurve and long bows i plan to update this entry. - DinkyDee 02:54, 17 January 2009 (CST)
Encyc says they all do 5-8 damage --Nerdz 21:35, 16 January 2009 (CST)
Encyc is wrong. - DinkyDee 01:15, 18 January 2009 (CST)
