Reasoning will decrease by one for every game minute until your original level is reached. The most you can increase your Reasoning by using this potion is five regardless if you use them one immediately after the other.
A Potion of Reasoning along with a Potion of Will will increase the amount of experience you obtain in mixing. It is best to take them at beginning of minute (there will be cooldown delay before you can take 2nd potion), be full of food before you start and have all supplies you can carry on in inventory so you can get the most extra experience out of potions. Using feasting potions works very well. This technique is very useful for lesser experience items such as fire essence, mana potions, fur gloves, etc for the bonus is applied more times.
